JeffCare Community Health Center offers COVID-19 vaccines in Metairie and Marrero for children and adults (ages 5 and up). Boosters are also available to those eligible. Call 504-838-5257 to reserve an appointment.
Booster Recommendations
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) recommend children ages 12 and up receive their COVID-19 booster five months after completing their primary Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine series. Adults ages 18 and up should receive their booster five months after completing their primary Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series. For more information, read the full CDC guidelines on boosters.
